2007 Martin OMC Red Birch Acoustic/Electric, w/Case

From Martin: As part of its forest conservation efforts, Martin builds guitars from wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, releasing a series of guitars geared toward the global environment. 000-14 cutaway shape, solid Sitka spruce top, red birch/cherry/red Birch back, red birch sides, cherry neck, cataloque fingerboard, 25.4" scale 1-3/4" nut, and a cherry and birch leaf pattern rosette on the soundhole. It features thick bass like the roar of a bull and clear, transparent treble. In addition to the sound balance, the response is good, and the sound is very pleasant and easy to play because each string has a good separation of sound. This is a guitar that fingerpickers will fall in love with, not to mention players. This guitar is equipped with Fishman's Ellipse Aura. The Ellipse AURA is a system that combines a preamp section that attaches to the soundhole and an under-saddle pickup (piezo). The preamp is equipped with AURA technology that produces an acoustic sound as if it were mic'd in a studio. This is a recommended pickup system for acoustic guitars that can reproduce the sound as if it were a microphone recording, even though it is a piezo pickup.
